Organic pipe
Well this tutorial was awful for several reasons. But I got through it and here is the result. My own static mesh in UDK! That's pretty exciting! I would like to learn more about this from a different tutorial perhaps :)

Temple on an Island
My first level built in the unreal engine. The unreal engine was used to make games like Gears of War 1-3, Bioshock 1 & 2, Borderlands, Destroy All Humans, Turok etc... It was a pretty fun process. The interior of the temple, as stated in my last post is based on a tutorial so I take no credit for it what so ever. Also all of the static meshes/ textures like the bricks, columns, trees, grass were taken from a repository in the UDK. I have yet to add anything of my own creation into this map. The beach is a little blocky, I think because I didn't tesselate the terrain enough before sculpting it out. Anyways Check it out!
*warning* when I get into the vehicle its LOUD. I was having some volume issues. Also After uploading the video its quite small, but I assure you it looks pretty nice in real life.

Intro to level design
So I just finished the lessons on basic level building in Unreal Dev Kit. This was pretty fun. I am exctied to see what I can come up with on my own. The below room was pretty much designed by the guy doing the tutorial. I really like the idea of building games in Unreal, the same engine used in some of my favorite games. Oh and I am excited to throw some outdoor environments into the mix. Anyways here's the room I finished. I tried to record a movie "playing the level" but the movie was really chuggy on playback for some reason.
